Marcia Oliver
Marcia Oliver, born in 1938 in Florida, arrived in Taos in 1968 for a Helene Wurlitzer residency. She quickly found herself immersed in and invited into the esteemed group of Taos Moderns, which included her close friend Agnes Martin, as well as Beatrice Mandelman, Earl Stroh, and Edward Corbett. She is one of the last living Taos Moderns and a celebrated member of our community.
